Well, my new website is up and running, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! For my first blog post, I want to take the time to acknowledge the people in charge of getting it, and keeping it going.
Alexis Beckett is my multi-media manager. She takes care of photography, my website, my social media including Instagram (in which I’m illiterate), and all aspects of branding. She also shot the video for my song “For You.” Her right hand is her sister Autumn Beckett, who, on top of her other talents, produced and engineered “For You” in the studio. These are two of the sharpest young ladies you're ever going to come across, and the sky’s the limit for them. I have the pleasure of being able to work with them regularly.
Alexis and Autumn work under the tutelage of Scotty Rohr, producer, engineer, and owner of Zension Studio in Austin, MN. He engineered and produced the two EPs I’ve already released, and he’ll be back in that seat when I begin my next project, a full-length LP that I hope to begin tracking in the fall of 2021.
As it says on my “About” page, I’ve come to believe we’re here to use our gifts and abilities to bring joy to others. Hopefully, that’s what’s happening since I walked away from my previous job back in early 2019. If so, I have the above three individuals, along with my wonderfully supportive wife Jen, to thank for helping me make that happen.
I’ll be out here continuing to pound out the miles every weekend this summer, and I look forward to seeing more people out and about enjoying food, drink, and entertainment like they used to.
